Hey there, I’m Cori- a working wife and mom. Married to my best friend… 18 years, which I can hardly believe. We have four impossibly amazing kids, ages 9-15, who keep us so busy that sometimes we wonder if we’ll ever eat dinner before 8:00 at night ever again! We spend an inordinate amount of time on soccer and baseball fields, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. I might argue that I live in my car because I spend so much time driving kids everywhere. But, it gives me ample time to read (my favorite pastime) while I sit and wait and dream about when life will slow down and we can hike and camp and travel to our heart’s content!
I grew up in the great state of Washington and miss the waterfront nearly everyday. It is one of my joys to visit every year. I also wish for GOOD teriyaki and fresh seafood constantly. (Come on, Southern Utah- help me out a little!!) I also live for the days of driving through fields of spring flowers. You haven’t lived till you’ve spent time at the Tulip Festival or watched a Daffodil Parade. There is nothing better!
I spend my days traveling to local branches of a bank, filling in where and when I’m needed. I love to meet and interact with new people everyday. It is never boring. And. as an added bonus, I’m never in one place long enough for people to get tired of me! It’s a win-win situation.
I am not an expert at anything! Truth be told, crafts make me crazy, my cake decorating skills are subpar, at best, and my house is NEVER completely clean and organized. However, I live by the idea that if I am capable of making it, doing it, or accomplishing it, anyone can! Truly. I am proving everyday that life can still be great even if you’re not a guru in crafts or baking or woodworking or underwater basket weaving. I’m just me. And I’m good with that.
