Are you sick of hearing about it? Have you bought it and you’re afraid to use it? Maybe you don’t think it’s really that big of a deal to begin with. Well, I’m telling you the Instant Pot is changing my life one meal at a time. Seriously. I was a skeptic for a bit and skirted around it for quite sometime. I searched Amazon over and over for a deal and finally bit the bullet and ordered the biggest Instant Pot they sell. And then I unpacked it and thought, “Now what?” It’s slightly intimidating, but the faster you jump in, the better off you will be.
We have too many late nights at our house where it’s literally 8:00 at night and we are just getting home from practices and other activities. And, of course, no one has any idea what’s for dinner. There are so many great resources online for the Instant Pot, including its own website, but once you’ve used it a few times it so easy to throw in some ingredients and let it do its thing. Do you have partially frozen chicken breasts or tenderloins, a can of cream of chicken soup and a can of water or milk? 20 minutes and you can be eating Hawaiian Haystacks. Slightly thawed boneless pork ribs and a bottle of BBQ sauce? You’ll be eating those ribs in 20 minutes. I’ll never make mashed potatoes in a pot on the stove again- chunk up those potatoes with the skins on, add water and 10 minutes later you’re mashing potatoes into something delicious.
If you’re still not sure where to start, pick something simple from the cookbook that comes with your Instant Pot and give it a go. I’m fairly certain I haven’t even tapped into a fraction of the goodness that can be had, but I’m well on my way. I’m excited to share what I’m learning with you! Get on Amazon and order yours and we’ll do this together! You won’t regret it!!
