Due to my love, maybe addiction, of reading, I want to share my favorite app. The app is called OverDrive and it is simply fantastic! The great thing about this app is that it’s linked to your local library and thus free, without even the late fines. Yes FREE!
How to Get Started
If you’re new to OverDrive just head on over to https://www.overdrive.com, create an account, sign in using your city library card number and the freedom of e books is at your fingertips, without ever having to drive to the library. I know! I told you it was great!
Depending on the book you want to read, you may immediately download the book or if there’s a hold on the book, you will be placed on a wait list until the book is available. There are classics, kids books, new books, self-help books and free audio books. I’m so excited about this next part! You can then download the book onto your kindle account and read from any kindle or kindle app including your phone, anywhere. This is great for multiple readers in the same family reading the same book or picking up on the kindle where you left off on your phone. I love it! If you’re not a kindle user that is OK, too, as you can read straight from the overdrive website on any device.
