I’m one of “those” people when it comes to Christmas music. Much to my family’s chagrin, I start listening to it in early November. Once Halloween takes its graceful bow from the harvest season, I say Christmas music is fair game. Here’s the thing- it’s good music! It makes people happy and joyful. Why would we insist that music that can evoke such feelings of goodwill only be played for one month out of the year? I really don’t think it detracts from the Thanksgiving holiday. It only serves to enhance it! So, I don’t even pretend to hide it anymore. I listen to it when I want, without caring what others think of it. And I think you should too. 🙂
I’ve put together a must-have Christmas music playlist for your holiday season. I enlisted the help of some of my favorite people- my siblings and my four kids, who have all given me some of their favorites. It was hard to keep the numbers down, but I think we came up with a list that anyone will love. Give them a try- they won’t disappoint!
